Accounting & Finance Social Event 12 November 2019

On Tuesday evening we had our first social event of the academic year. Everyone was invited to come along to an open mic night at Smokey Joe’s in Cheltenham to have some fun, meet everyone on the course and show off their hidden talents. We were not disappointed! Who knew Sri could play the guitar and piano so well, Chris was an accomplished pianist and Xiaoling an opera singer? But most of all that we had such talented students amongst us, with special performances from Saffron, Jack T and Jack K as well as Amelia Blount who is only 12 but gave a fantastic performance of Shallow for the first time. The highlight however was Charles and Nash, our new level 4 student, serenading each other with their own unique version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. A special thank you to Archan for arranging such a fun evening and for everyone who attended, even though some had assignments due the next day! We will definitely be arranging another date in the diary soon.
