University shortlisted for national award

The University of Gloucestershire has been shortlisted in the THE Awards for Outstanding Contribution to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, for its Reciprocal Mentoring programme.

This programme, which partners senior university staff with students from BAME backgrounds, has wide ranging benefits for our community, thanks to the university’s Equality and Diversity time. It enables participants to learn from each other, improves leadership’s awareness and understanding of the issues affecting young people from a variety of cultural backgrounds, and aims to make our university a more inclusive place to work and study, for everyone.
