University of Gloucestershire shortlisted for 2020 Green Gown Awards

The University of Gloucestershire has been shortlisted in two categories at the 2020 Green Gown awards, which celebrate sustainability success stories in education.

The University of Gloucestershire is a finalist for both the Sustainability Institution of the Year Award and Next Generation Skills Award.

The shortlist reflects the success of two projects; The Art of Sustainability and A Rounder Sense of Purpose. The later is a project co-ordinated between the School of Education and Humanities and nine partner institutions across Europe, which has developed a set of competencies for educators to use to help them create a curriculum with sustainability built into the learning. The Art of Sustainability reflects the ongoing work and achievements in putting sustainability at the heart of everything the University does since the 1990’s. You can find out more here
