Artist at distance is in conversation

Join Hardwick Gallery’s artist-at-distance Louise K Wilson in conversation with artist Rona Lee, chaired by lecturer and theorist Jean Boyd.

In this special online in conversation event, Louise and Rona Lee will be exploring commonalities in their practice that focus on geology, photography and travel at a distance/remote viewing.

Discussions will range across Rona Lee’s ‘In Love with the Lithosphere’ https://www.ronalee.org/projects/ and the Chthonic project that Louise K Wilson was part of (involving four people spending three days and nights living underground in a disused lead mine), alongside Louise’s current project exploring the Special Collections and Archives at the University of Gloucestershire. This work is presented on Hardwick Gallery’s website as a series of blogs and collaborations.

The event is Thursday 28 January, from 7pm until 8.30pm, and you can register to attend here.
