UoG signs international partnership with Hainan University in China

The University of Gloucestershire and Hainan University in China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, launching the start of what is hoped will be a long and successful international collaboration.

Prof Jackie Labbe, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of University of Gloucestershire, said: “I’m delighted to launch this Memorandum of Understanding in what I hope will be a very fruitful collaboration.

“We are a very ambitious university, very interested in finding the right kinds of international partners to join with, and it certainly is the case that Hainan is one of those partners.

“The University is exploring a number of global opportunities and we see this partnership as one which will help us to further establish ourselves in China.

“We are very proud and delighted that Hainan University would like to work with us in the fields of finance and accounting, and branching out after that perhaps into data engineering and computing as well.”
