UoG leads national scheme to improve board diversity in higher education
20th October 2021
The University of Gloucestershire is spearheading a groundbreaking initiative aimed at improving the diversity and inclusivity of higher education governing bodies.
It has been at the forefront of developing the Advance HE’s Board Diversity and Inclusion Toolkit – the first of its kind for the sector – providing universities and other higher education providers with the support and information they need to tackle under-representation at board level.
The Toolkit, which will be launched online on 2 November, evolved out of the Board Diversity Project led by the University in collaboration with international executive search firm Perrett Laver, aiming to collate, understand and share members’ practice to deliver on board diversity.
