Pleased to read that a new Architecture course is starting.
We had one within the then Cheltenham Art College which in 1961 gave birth to the extant Landscape Architecture Course (celebrating its 60th anniversary this year). Later came a Town Planning Course.
The intent and vision was to educate students of these three related professions interactively, simulating aspects of real life. Sadly the Architecture and Planning courses became extinct some 30 years ago.

I was on the first year of the Landscape Architecture Course and worked in Local Authorities, private practice and education and now in retirement must say that sadly interactions of these professions were frequently very strained. I hope this new course will seek to achieve better cooperation between these professions than my generation. Best of luck.
