Graduates and students play leading roles in University’s award-winning film

University of Gloucestershire has won an industry award for an inspiring short film in which graduates share valuable career insights and advice with students about achieving success in the film production industry.

The Learning on Screen Awards 2023 commended a film made by Course Lead in Film Production, Mike Parker, and Senior Lecturer in Film Production, Adam Batchelor, that highlighted a range of graduate success stories, provided testimonials and showcased recent student work from the BA Film Production programme.

The film was named the winner of the Promotional Film category at the Learning on Screen Awards, which celebrate broadcast and professional productions as well as providing a platform for generations of upcoming student filmmakers. You can read more about this story on the University website.
