2018 Pitville Park Bioblitz

Are you keen on local wildlife? Join us on Saturday 9th June for the Cheltenham BioBlitz. We’ll be taking over Pittville Park and attempting to record as many species as possible, starting nice and early with a dawn chorus, counting flowers, trees, butterflies, bees, mammals and more throughout the day, then finishing off with some late-evening bat detection.

The event is being organised by a team of our very own BioScience students in collaboration with naturalists and experts from the local area and we’re looking for volunteers to assist on the day.

There’ll be lots to get involved with, such as helping with surveys, marshalling and monitoring, and no experience is necessary.

This is a great opportunity to get some hands-on experience and just the sort of thing that makes your CV shine.

If you’re keen to get involved or want to know more then register via our web site at http://bit.ly/cheltbioblitz. You can also email us on gloucestershirebioblitz@gmail.com or send us a message via our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/CheltBioBlitz/
