Worrying her parents, Joe\u2019s imagination takes her around the world meeting all sorts of characters. But when things go wrong, will her parents question whether Joe\u2019s imaginary world is more real than their own?&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/creativewriting\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2019\/01\/we-dont-get-snow-like-this.mp3\">&#8216;We Don&#8217;t Get Snow Like This&#8217; by Claire Leek<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Claire Holland\u2019s play <em>Reclaim<\/em> takes the listener on a darkly comic world of a couple who, just returning from their holidays, find their house occupied by squatters. Things go from bad to worse; will the couple\u2019s relationship\u2014and their mental health\u2014survive, and will the squatters ever be evicted?&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/creativewriting\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2019\/01\/reclaim.mp3\">&#8216;Reclaim&#8217; by Claire Holland<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lauren Dayment\u2019s play <em>The Ellison Family Archive<\/em> is a touching and elegantly written story of a dystopian future where a family\u2014living in a bunker for unknown reasons\u2014have to dig into their past as a way to move on with their lives.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/creativewriting\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2019\/01\/the-ellison-family-archive.mp3\">&#8216;The Ellison Family Archive&#8217; by Lauren Dayment<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keely O&#8217;Shaughnessy&#8217;s &#8216;The Breakfast Bar&#8217; follows a stagnating man whose relationship is crumbling, and whose escapist fantasy of a North American good life unravels when he encounters a girl at his local Homebase. This ultimately uplifting story has been praised for its subtle complexity and its intelligent use of detail.
