{"id":1442,"date":"2014-01-16T12:41:35","date_gmt":"2014-01-16T12:41:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/creativewriting\/?p=1442"},"modified":"2014-01-16T12:41:35","modified_gmt":"2014-01-16T12:41:35","slug":"ma-guest-speaker-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/creativewriting\/2014\/01\/16\/ma-guest-speaker-series\/","title":{"rendered":"MA Guest Speaker Series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year, our Creative Writing MA students have been treated to a series of guest speakers from the creative industries.\u00a0 First up,\u00a0one of our\u00a0MA alumni, Chaucer Cameron, returned with her colleague Helen Dewbury to screen the stunning work they\u2019ve been doing in the areas of film and video poetry, wonderful examples of which can be found on their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elephantsfootprint.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>.\u00a0 To end last semester, award-winning novelist <a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/uniofglos.blog\/creativewriting\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2019\/01\/niall-griffiths-getty-01.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-1445\" alt=\"niall-griffiths-getty-01\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/uniofglos.blog\/creativewriting\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2019\/01\/niall-griffiths-getty-01.jpg?resize=129%2C137&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"129\" height=\"137\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.serenbooks.com\/author\/niall-griffiths\" target=\"_blank\">Niall Griffiths <\/a>came in to discuss his writing process, the publishing industry, and the film adaptation of his novel, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bfi.org.uk\/news-opinion\/sight-sound-magazine\/reviews-recommendations\/film-week-kelly-victor\" target=\"_blank\">Kelly &amp;
