\"Eleven<\/a>Need a break from football? You’re in luck: from Thursday to Saturday this week, Eleven Places Theatre Company<\/a>, in association with Dreamshed Theatre<\/a>, are presenting a series of short plays about the importance of place. Eleven Places is a theatre company comprised of University of Gloucestershire Creative Writing graduates, including lecturer Lucy Tyler<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We often define ourselves by where we\u2019re born, where we\u2019ve lived, and where we\u2019ve been. But why and how does place become so important to us?<\/p>\n

Luke Dean, Claire Holland, and Lucy Tyler\u00a0have each written about the profundity of place and its impact on our lives. Join them to meet a child who\u2019s recalling the violence of a Scottish mining community, a commuter who\u2019s unwilling to ever stop travelling, and a girl who\u2019s determined to cross to the wrong side of the tracks.<\/p>\n

The show is at the Everyman Theatre<\/a> at 7:45 on Thursday 26th, Friday 27th, and Saturday 28th, and there’s also a matinee at 2pm on Saturday 28th. Tickets can be booked via this link<\/a>. Come along – we’d love to see you there!<\/p>\n
