This Friday (17th October), for one night only, there’s an opportunity to see ‘Places I Remember’ – hard-hitting drama\u00a0that was originally staged\u00a0at The Everyman Theatre in the summer. The performance is brought to you by\u00a0Eleven Places Theatre Company<\/a>,\u00a0which is run by University of Gloucestershire Creative Writing tutors and\u00a0alumni.<\/p>\n

We often define ourselves by where we\u2019re born, where we\u2019ve lived, and where we\u2019ve been. But why and how does place become so important to us?<\/p>\n

Three playwrights have each written about the profundity of place and its impact on our lives. Join them to meet a child who\u2019s recalling the violence of a Scottish mining community, a commuter who\u2019s unwilling to ever stop travelling, and a girl who\u2019s determined to cross to the wrong side of the tracks.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The three plays\u00a0are written by Lucy Tyler<\/a>, Claire Holland<\/a>, and Luke Dean<\/a>, and are performed by Luke Dean and Anwen Ashworth.\u00a0Don’t miss this one-off addition to the original run. Friday’s performance will be held in the upstairs function room at Copa<\/a> on Regent Street<\/strong>. Tickets are sold on the door for \u00a35 and the performance starts at 7:30pm.
