You will be treated to extracts from five plays (read script-in-hand), which have been written by third-year Dramatic Writing students at the University of Gloucestershire (Genevieve Allen, Luke Dean, Claire Holland, Rachel Kelby, and Keely O&#8217;Shaughnessy). The students have reworked five classic plays &#8211; <em>A Doll\u2019s House, The Rover, Antigone, The Glass Menagerie<\/em>, and <em>The Caucasian Chalk Circle<\/em> &#8211; and their performances will take you from dystopian alternative realities to a Mediterranean resort filled with boozy Brits who&#8217;ve travelled in search of sun and sex. You&#8217;ll also get to enjoy spoken word in the gallery bar and hand-picked performance pieces in the auditorium. If you&#8217;ve not been to the Parabola Arts Centre before, it&#8217;s a beautiful space that includes a 325-seat auditorium. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.parabolaartscentre.co.uk\/about-us\/map\/\" target=\"_blank\">It&#8217;s situated on Parabola Road, opposite Cheltenham Ladies College<\/a>. The show starts at 7:30 and student tickets cost just \u00a35 (full price \u00a38).
