As part of the residency, the practitioners are running two workshops, one of which is specifically aimed at students. This workshop will be on the afternoon of 12<sup>th<\/sup> December, so if you\u2019re a student with an interest in dramatic writing, mark that date in your diary.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/uniofglos.blog\/creativewriting\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2019\/01\/eleven-places-logo1.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-920\" title=\"Eleven Places Logo\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/uniofglos.blog\/creativewriting\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2019\/01\/eleven-places-logo1.jpg?resize=256%2C148&#038;ssl=1\" height=\"148\" width=\"256\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Eleven Places is using its four week residency to construct a piece of theatre\u2014or \u00a0an installation\u2014that examines the ways that spaces can be reconstituted, distorted, or transformed. The practitioners will investigate the relationship between story and space, and the relationship between practitioner, character, and place, producing a piece of theatre intended for performance within the space. They say:<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We all understand what our homes mean, and what makes a home your home. But look a little deeper \u2013 what exactly is the recipe for belonging? What makes a space\u00a0 inhabitable, public, comfortable, or yours? Do we really belong anywhere? At home? In Cheltenham?\u00a0 In this often comic, thought-provoking production of site-specific work, Eleven places Theatre Company will take you on a journey into your\u00a0own understanding of space, place, and belonging.
