Graduate Employment Success: Katy Layton

It has just been a few weeks since our third year students handed in their final work for marking but they are all ready securing themselves exciting jobs and work experience.
We just received this email from 2017 graduate Katy Layton.
“A few weeks ago, I went for an interview for the position (over 150 people applied for the role) of editorial and digital assistant at Homes & Antiques magazine. As a result, I was offered the position and I have just completed my first full week in my new job. I am loving every moment of working with the magazine and alongside the fantastic team. I am constantly learning something new and I am looking forward to seeing where this opportunity can take me in the future. I have taken the first step into my dream career and it all started from completing a work experience with the magazine as part of the professional practice module in my second year!”
We would also like to congratulate Holly Davis on securing a post-production role within the Superdry team in Cheltenham, Shannon Dudley on securing a production role within a company in Oxford, Carly Tyrell who is currently on a European Tour with US band Linkin Park and Reece Pickering who assisted the photographer Gavin Bond photographing Liam Gallagher last week.
