This Monday saw us take our current third years students to London for our annual visit to leading photographic agent Wyatt, Clarke and Jones http://wyattclarkejones.com.
It is always an important opportunity for our students to hear what agents and clients are looking for from a photographer and to see photographer’s work the agency represents. Whilst this was taking place a group of students interested in publishing visited Senior Commissioning Editor Louise Baird-Smith at Bloomsbury Publishing. This was a fantastic opportunity to hear how to start a career in book publishing and to visit the publishing home of the Harry Potter franchise. Students also visited exhibitions at the Tate Modern and the current Andreas Gursky exhibition at the Hayward Gallery.
