First Year, Lara Boswell photographs a Dr.Martens product and a target audience shoot for the clothing brand brief during the Introduction to Editorial & Advertising module.


Lara talks about her Dr. Martens shoot. For my clothing brief, I chose to take inspiration from the post punk youth culture scene currently thriving in Birmingham.

I selected these models as the male, is in a punk band where he plays the bass player and the female, also fits the demographic. The copy works in accordance to the Dr. Martens brand, working across both my target audience and still life images and reflecting their alternative styles.
