Second Year Ollie Bentley photographs a series of landscape work at The Brecon Beacons as part of a personal project.

I photographed these landscapes during a trip to the Brecon Beacons in the New Year, while walking up Pen y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales.

My aim while shooting was to not only display the dramatic landscape surrounding the peak, but to capture the variety of weather systems. At 886 metres above sea level, it only took 10 minutes for bright sun to turn into thick fog, and it was a reminder to not underestimate the power and potential danger of weather.

The theme of weather systems is something I will be exploring further in my personal work in the coming year.
