Editorial and Advertising Photography wins the prestigious “Association of Photographers Course of the Year Award, 2020” – Again!


For the second time in three years we celebrate being the “Association of Photographers’ Course of the Year 2020”, nominated by our students and awarded by the professional judging panel at the AOP.

It is with great pride and excitement that we can announce that Editorial and Advertising Photography has won the prestigious Association of Photographers Course of the Year Award, 2020. The AOP Course of the Year Award is a nationwide award as we were nominated by our students and judged as winners by industry professionals, makes the achievement all the better. The course team, Trudie Ballantyne, Emma Jane Hughes and Matthew Murray would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the students who nominated our course and to the broader, ever expanding number of students and alumni that make up the wonderful and strong Editorial and Advertising Photography community.

Included in this post is a small selection of work and commissions produced by current students, graduates and lecturers of the Editorial and Advertising Photography course.

We are a creative, professionally orientated Photography course, with a long standing and well recognised reputation within the creative industries. Awarded the AOP Course of the Year 2018, and now 2020 we are proud of the work our students create and the success they achieve both during the course and after they graduate.

We work with brands and organisations on live briefs throughout the course and we are always responding to the needs of industry, continually updating and keeping our course relevant.
