First year Molly Harmson shoots work for the Introduction to Editorial and Advertising module


For the in-store clothing advert brief, we had to consider a target audience image and a still life of a product by a chosen brand.

I was inspired by streetstyle and how popular sports brands can be incorporated into our everyday lives, so decided to focus my outcomes on Adidas.

For my image including the model, I wanted the viewer to be drawn in by how the brand was styled, and I wanted my still life to be bright and bold, but very simple to keep eyes on the clothing. I chose the Adidas Originals branding to keep a classic feel to the brand and my outcomes, and I feel the blue text works with this well, especially in line with the actual adverts Adidas use as a brand, which was a big inspiration for me.
