Mya Cooke shoots cosmetic brief for the Introduction to Editorial and Advertising module

The brief for this module was for us to pick any 2 out of a possible 5 individual briefs, and for us to follow what the brief was asking. For this brief I had to shoot 2 images, 1 still life shot of the product and 1 image for the target audience.

I have always loved still life photography and I think it is one of my favourite genres of photography to shoot and I think that is why this brief stuck out to me the most. What inspired me to take these images and to use the product I used was all because my favourite colour is blue, and I wanted to incorporate that into these images. Luckily enough I already had blue lipstick that I could use.
