University of Gloucestershire Partnership Conference : Future Proofing Future Teachers
Date: 18 June 2019
Where: University of Gloucestershire, Park Campus, Cheltenham
This year we are delighted to welcome Greg Bottrill to give the key note lecture ‘Can I Go and Play Now?’
Greg is an experienced Early Years teacher. He will share his insights from exploring practice, provision and teaching that creates the very best learning opportunities for children (https://twitter.com/gregbottrill?lang=en).
We are also pleased to be able to devote part this conference to sharing with you current developments in our ITE provision. This will include sharing our recent partnership work across secondary, primary and early years education, and how we are seeking to futureproof our ITE in our PGCE and BEd programmes.
A choice of workshops will be available during the day. These will provide inspiration from professional practice and insight into how we support our trainees in some aspects of pedagogical practice and how we support our students’ mental health and wellbeing.
The conference is open to all colleagues in our partnership schools
Please book a place by emailing our placement team at firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to welcoming you to the day
