Festival of Learning 2022
Tuesday 5 to Thursday 7 July
Celebrating Success in Teaching and Learning
The past 18 months have presented significant disruption to our teaching and support for learning at the University of Gloucestershire. Despite this, staff have risen to the challenges to deliver innovative and creative teaching, learning and assessment approaches, students have expressed immense gratitude for our efforts, and we have seen positive student outcomes. There is much to celebrate.
The Festival of Learning this year will offer time for all our academic and professional services staff to reflect on their experiences and celebrate their successes, however small or large, so that good teaching practice can be shared and future directions can be explored together. After long stretches in isolation from our colleagues, this event will provide a space to reconnect with one another and exchange ideas.
The Festival programme offers a mix of in-person and online sessions, including keynote workshops from invited external and internal speakers, a series of Academic Exchanges and Lightning Presentations, a Teaching & Scholarship Recognition Showcase, Poster Presentations, interactive Lunchtime Cascades, and more.
