FieldWorks 3: Thursday 17 September – 16:00 – 17:00

A conversation and Q&A with Nick Anim (Transition Town Brixton) to discuss imagining, planning and pioneering better futures.

Nick Anim will discuss the creative power of imagining desired futures, in order to take action towards them. Transition Town Brixton focuses on local economy, energy and food.

His own research considers the importance of diversity and inclusion for these ‘memories of the future’, and for the aims and practices of socio-environmental movements. He is completing a PhD at The Bartlett, UCL.

In conversation with Jean Boyd, Course Leader of MDes Graphic Design.

The session will be chaired by Kim Barton, who has just completed MA Landscape Architecture with research project Tale of Two Neighbourhoods: a study of urban diversity in two deprived Bristol wards.
