applicant day

fchWe’re holding two Applicant Taster Days in the coming months – on Thursday, 19 February and Thursday, 26 March. Including hands-on experience of our on-site archives, these days are aimed at giving you a flavour of what it means to be a researcher – and what it’s like to ‘do’ research at Gloucestershire.

There are also talks aimed at what type of History course you want to take, with pure historians getting to rummage through our collections, and those applicants interested in taking History in conjunction with Religion, Philosophy and Ethics taking a close like at Plato’s unexamined life. Parents and guests are welcome, too – and can attend a Q&A session with our Head of School, Professor Shelley Saguaro, and others.

You can take a look at the programme for both days here [PDF] – and we hope to see you there!
