A reminder about the Landscape Institute South West CPD Day titled RESILIENT LANDSCAPES taking place on 4th May 2017 at Paintworks Event Space, Bristol, from 10.30am.

Don’t forget to get your ticket for our CPD Day on Resilient Landscapes, Thursday 4th May!

We have a great line up of speakers covering issues including planning for green infrastructure and a catchment based approach for resilience in landscapes across the south west region. We’ll also be looking at the relationship between landscape and wellbeing, with speakers from Incredible Edible, Gingko Projects and Tisdall Associates.  Case studies will include planning for pedestrian and cycle-friendly networks by Dutch firm Witteveen+Bos and TACP Landscape Architects will discuss their Green Infrastructure Action Plan for Pollinators which won the Landscape Institute’s 2016 Presidents Award.  The new LI CEO Dan Cook will be joining us to present a vision for the Landscape Institute and the day will end with a drinks reception and the LI’s travelling exhibition showcasing 2016’s award winning projects from across the country.

This is really worth doing for students – a great opportunity to meet practitioners and get to know what’s really happening out there in practice.
