The academic term might be over, but that doesn’t mean learning stops! This month, Lottie and Saba have both presented at specialist conferences, sharing good practice and gaining insights into work in their areas.
Saba Yousif, Senior Lecturer in Law and Director of the Law Clinic, presented a poster with preliminary research at the Advance HE’s Teaching and Learning conference in Newcastle, focusing on students’ perceptions of experiential learning and how they can support student success. This poster reflected on student and stakeholder feedback on the Gloucestershire Business School’s ThreeSixty student-led consultancy.

Lottie Park-Morton, Academic Course Leader and Senior Lecturer in Law, presented a paper at the PGR bioethics conference in Bristol which looked at her PhD area of the identity rights of surrogate-born individuals, with a focus of the impact of cross-border arrangements and how states need to do more to build bridges in order to meet the rights of the child.
