The Long-Awaited Community event
14th March 2019
It’s almost time to round off and celebrate all of your contributions to the community with our end of theme event on April 3rd. Allow me to share some details…
You’re great – celebrate!
Societies, friend groups and communities of every kind are getting the opportunity to kick back and reflect on their impact around the local area. Whether you took part in our community challenges or not, it’s time to be proud, and showcase our collective contributions to the Global Goals.
Gargoyles you say?
The Cathedral is offering a one-off workshop opportunity to learn from experts and sculpt your own clay gargoyle to share your story of identity and culture. What represents who you are, what you care about, or where you are from? Art does not have to be perfect! 😉
Free food for all
Ah, free food- always a big motivator. You’ll get a chance to mingle with the community and share stories over a catered buffet, so make sure you sign up to the event so we know how much food to prepare! You know it’s not like us to let it go to waste.
Have you booked yet?
If not, this is really easy to do right here.
What are you waiting for?!
If you want to know more, we’ve got a handy little flier right here.
Last but not least
Maybe you’ve been meaning to take part in our challenges, or maybe you’ve only just stumbled upon what we’re up to here at Live Smart, so it’s my pleasure to remind you- our challenges are still open!
Career and CV boosters, a simple afternoon out with your mates, or credit for something you’re already doing to improve sustainability in your community, there’s plenty going on. Have a look at our first community blog post for info on all that.
And as always, thanks for reading.
