Rugby World Cup – BA Photography students document the fans
3rd October 2015
The Rugby World Cup is being staged across Britain, and one of the main centres is Gloucester where some of the big matches are being played. There is also a fan zone on the docks where the public can see all the matches being screened and enjoy the atmosphere.
Gloucester City Council invited our students to take photographs at the matches and in the fan zone, and a selection of these are being screened throughout the run. The new first years have been doing this as their first project – a great chance to get their work out in public (and a good fun event to be part of too). Emily Jones, the organiser liaising with us commented that the work is “a great reflection of the fan zone”
