The success for former student Jacob King continues in what has been a very difficult year for all of us.

Jacob, also known as Jake, saw two of his images selected for the BBC’s year in pictures, as published on the BBC News website.

Jakes image’s of people enjoying the summer heatwave despite Covid restrictions, and of the first person in the UK to receive a Covid vaccination, Margaret Keenan, were among the stand out images of the year.
