Success: Picture Editors Guild Student Awards

First year student, Annabel Lee-Ellis was recently shortlisted for the prestigious Picture Editors Guild Awards in the Best Student Photographer category.
The Picture Editors Guild Awards are a long running annual competition in which major UK picture editors choose the best images submitted by professional news photographers over the last year. The Student category is supported by camera manufacturer Nikon who choose the overall winner of the competition.
To be shortlisted is a massive achievement for Annabel, particularly as from the entries received, the shortlist consisted of just three student photographers.
In a black tie event held at the Honourable Artillery Company in London, Annabel that she had been highly commended for the work by the judges at Nikon. Our congratulations go out to Annabel and we look forward to seeing her win the award in subsequent years.
