As his prize, Eddie will travel to London on Monday 7th November and will be loaned camera and lens equipment from Canon. He’ll spend that night in a hotel in London, with all his travel and hotel costs covered by The BPPA.

The following day, Eddie will meet with Getty photographer Dan Kitwood at Getty’s offices and will cover the Dream Toys ’22 photocall at Hamley’s Toy Store on Oxford Street with Dan, which showcases the top 12 toys for Christmas 2022.

After the event Eddie will edit his photographs with Dan, who will give him some feedback before returning to the Getty offices.

This is a great opportunity for Eddie, and is just the start in the benefits for students on Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at UoG through the BPPA Associate Membership offer with mentorship from working press photographers included as part of the membership.

Our congratulations to Eddie and to Marcin and we look forward to seeing their careers take shape from here.
