The Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford

This trip is an excellent chance for our new first year students to come together as a community and discover the wealth of strange and exotic religious and cultural artefacts that this venerable museum houses.

There was anything from the magnificence of a Haida totem pole to ritual amulets to ward of malign spirits to shamanic ceremonial masks for healing dances and students had the chance to explore the narrow corridors between retro style display cases that offered myriad objects of fascination.
