Welcome to our sociology blog, Sociology For Social Justice! This blog is a space for students and staff alike to share insights into their work that has a focus on highlighting social injustices and achieving social change. Although sociological concepts will be drawn upon in posts, the aim of this blog is to be accessible for everyone, sociologist or not! We hope you enjoy reading and engaging with the posts, please do feel free to share amongst your networks!

Interested in submitting a post?

If you would like to submit a post to the blog, please get in touch! Posts should be 1,000-1,500 words in length, and any images included need to be free of copyright infringement (either images you own yourself, or using a free image website). Below are some examples of themes that your blogpost may cover, although this is by no means exhaustive:

  • Summaries of research projects/emerging findings
  • Sociological take on current affairs including issues of injustice
  • Reflections on academic events/projects/placements
  • Discussion pieces on topics of sociological interest
