Two events at this year’s Cheltenham Literature Festival are related to collections held in the University Archives and Special Collections.

John Craig: The Wood Engravings of Gordon Craig at Cheltenham Town Hall, Wednesday 13th October 2010 10am, £6

Gordon Craig worked closely with the Whittington Press, whose publications make up part of our Gloucestershire Poets, Writers and Artists Collection (GPWA).

Robert Frost and Edward Thomas: Matthew Hollis and Owen Sheers at Cheltenham Town Hall, Wednesday 13th October 2010 4pm, £6

Robert Frost and Edward Thomas were part of the Dymock Poets, a group of influential writers gathered in Dymock just before the outbreak of World War I. Their works and personal papers also make up part of our GPWA collection.

People aged 25 and under, full time students and registered unemployed are entitled to half-price tickets for festival events. Registered disabled are entitled to half-price tickets and a free ticket for their support worker/personal assistant.
