Arthur James Guest was born in 1879 and lived at 20 Dunalley Parade.
He was a Corporal in the 5th Battalion Wiltshire Regiment, which he joined in Swindon. He died on 27 June 1916 aged 37 whilst serving in Mesopotamia. Arthur left a wife, Alice. He was buried at Amara War Cemetery, once a hospital centre for wounded soldiers, in modern-day Iraq.
