Arthur Morris was born on 9 October 1892, enlisting as a pupil at the Practising School from 1899. He lived at 23 Hanover Street, with his father George. Arthur left the Practising School for the world of work in 1907, at the age of 15.
He fought under the pseudonym Frederick Rogers, becoming a regular Private in the 1st Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Arthur was later killed in France on 13 October 1914, aged 22. He is buried at Meteren Military Cemetery, having previously been buried then exhumed.
