George John Thomas Ursell was born c.1896 and had been a pupil at the Practising School.
He enlisted in the 7th (Service) Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment in August 1914, and was sent to Gallipoli in July 1915. George was killed in action on 14 August 1915 aged 19, and is commemorated on the Helles Memorial having no known grave.
