Harry Thomas James Kenyon was a student from 1911 – 1913 and came from Bermondsey. He gained a first class teaching qualification.

Harry joined the 2nd (London) Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps as a Private and was killed on 17 August 1917, age 23. He was the only son of Harry and Hannah Kenyon who lived in Leiston, Suffolk. Before the war Harry worked as a Schoolmaster for London County Council. He is buried at The Huts Cemetery, Belgium where his headstone reads “My Only Boy, Goodnight, Mother” and “Fondest Memories Dear Brother, Dorothy”.
