Herbert Sidney Perry had been a pupil at St Paul’s Practising School. He later married his wife Annie and lived at Maythorne, Marle Hill Road, Cheltenham.
Herbert became a Private in the 2/6th (Territorial) Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment. He died on 2 December 1917, age 30. Having no known grave he is commemorated on the Cambrai Memorial.
