Jack Judge was a student between 1914 and 1916 and came from Heanor in Derbyshire, where he had attended Mundy Street School. His college nickname was “Maggie”.

Jack joined the 9^th Battalion Royal Fusiliers as a Private and died on 7 October 1916. He is buried at Beaulencourt British Cemetery, Ligny-Thilloy, Pas de Calais.
