Percy John Tustin was the son of Raymond and Elizabeth Tustin, living at 29 Courtenay Street. After leaving school he worked for the Midland Railway Company.

Percy became a Private in the 15th Battalion Hampshire Regiment, serving in the Salonika campaign on the Macedonian Front. He contracted influenza and was brought back to England after Armistice to Suffolk Hall Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD) Hospital. Percy died on 28 February 1919, aged 29. He is buried at Cheltenham Cemetery, where his grave is marked by a cross.
