William Harry Morgan was born on 1 February 1878 and attended the Practising School from June 1885.
He was a member of the Territorial Army for 16 years before joining the 1st/ 5th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment as a Sergeant and Drum Major. He was killed in action in Belgium on 13 May 1915, aged 36, and is buried at Ploegsteert Wood Military Cemetery.
