Anthony Henry Williams came from Derby and trained to be a teacher at St Paul’s College from 1935-1937. His college nickname was “Kongk” and he was a member of the Carthage house group. He was the son of Mr and Mrs Reginald Williams and later married Beatrice, living in Wordsley, Staffordshire.
Anthony became a Sergeant in 244th Squadron RAF and was killed on 1st February 1943 aged 29. He is commemorated on the Alamein Memorial in Egypt.
