Thomas William Ellery attended St Paul’s College from 1932-1934. He was the son of George and Mary Ellery, and husband to Beatrice of Twickenham, Middlesex.
He joined B Squadron of the 44th Royal Tank Regiment RAC as a Trooper. He was sent to Libya where he was killed on 22 November 1941, aged 26. He is buried at Halfaya Sollum War Cemetery.
