Thomas William Griffiths attended St Paul’s Training College from 1921-1923, having previously attended Mountain Ash School. Whilst a student he was a member of the first rugby team. Thomas became a Flying Officer in the RAF and died on 10 July 1945 aged 41. He is commemorated at Pontypridd Crematorium.
