William Roland Goodwin was the son of William and Daisy Goodwin. He was a student at St Paul’s College from 1930-1932 where he trained to become a teacher. He was a Marshall for the student monitors while at College.
William joined the RAF as a Flight Sergeant Navigator and died on 2 March 1944 aged 32. He left behind a widow, Phyllis in Barnet, Hertfordshire. William is remembered at Harwell Cemetery.
