Professor Paul Innes presents his Inaugural Lecture.
A specialist in Shakespeare studies, Paul is particularly interested in what Shakespeare’s plays meant at the time they were written and how they were performed on stage.
After becoming hooked on Shakespeare at university, he eventually branched out into teaching about his contemporaries as well, teaching in a way that makes them as accessible today as they were 400 years ago.
