How can organisations protect or even enhance their reputations during a crisis? This is the topic that will be discussed at the third of our ‘Beyond the Peak’ online seminars.
Taking place on Monday 15th June, we will be joined by industry experts Craig Ling and Nicola Davies. They will share some of their experiences and will reflect upon how various organisations have responded to the COVID-19 crisis, including examples of good (and not so good) practice.
Craig is a Director at the international public relations consultancy, Grayling, leading three of their UK regional offices and many of their flagship clients including M&S, Sainsbury’s and HSBC. He is a specialist in corporate PR, government relations and crisis communications, having previously advised organisations facing significant financial and legal challenges, including businesses involved in the Grenfell Inquiry.
Prior to joining Grayling a decade ago, Craig spent years working in Westminster, initially as the Parliamentary Policy Advisor for Trade, Business and Economics for the Liberal Democrats, before going on to act as a Senior Political Advisor to three parliamentarians, who went on to take ministerial responsibilities in the Coalition Government.
Nicola is an established PR professional and communications manager, providing strategic communications support and media relations services. Her experience includes crisis and reputation management, and emergency response. She is currently supporting Gloucestershire Hospitals as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
During her career, Nicola has been responsible for large teams, providing 24-hour media response for front line services including fire & rescue, highways and social services. She played a lead role in the emergency response press team during the 2007 Gloucestershire floods and was responsible for flood recovery communications during the clean-up, for which she won a CIPR award.
